About the role
As Manager, Training Operations you are the administrative lead for all crew training and regulatory training — planning, scheduling, records and compliance across flight and cabin crew — reporting to the Director, Flight Operations. You'll keep training on time, to standard and fully compliant, running a small, high-productivity team.
What you'll do
- Plan, schedule and administer all crew and regulatory training — initial, conversion, recurrent, SEP, AVSEC, DGR, first aid and CRM.
- Maintain training records, currency tracking and document control, and produce compliance reporting.
- Coordinate trainers, examiners, simulators / venues, ATO / TRTO and providers, and run the training calendar.
- Ensure training and records meet CAR OPS-1 and the Operations Manual, and support audits and CAA oversight.
- Manage training-admin systems and use data-driven tools to track currency and forecast demand.
What you'll bring
- Proven experience in airline training administration / operations, ideally with a regional operator.
- Strong knowledge of crew and regulatory training requirements (CAR OPS-1, Subpart O), currency tracking and records.
- Command of training-management / records systems and new-age, data-driven tools.
- Highly organised, detail-focused and compliance-minded.
- Comfortable building and leading a small, high-productivity team.
What will set you apart
- Turbo-prop (e.g. ATR) crew training experience and Middle East / GCC exposure.
- Familiarity with ATO / TRTO administration and simulator scheduling.
- Experience supporting a new-AOC / start-up training set-up.
