Manager - Crew Planning & Rostering
Job Description:
About the role
As Manager, Crew Planning & Rostering you plan and roster our flight and cabin crew — building legal, efficient rosters that meet the schedule, optimise utilisation and comply with Flight Time Limitations — reporting to the Manager, Operations Control Centre (OCC) and leading a small, high-productivity team.
What you'll do
- Produce and publish flight and cabin crew rosters that cover the schedule and comply with FTL and the Operations Manual.
- Own crew planning — establishment, leave, training and standby — and forecast crew needs against schedule and fleet.
- Optimise crew utilisation, productivity and cost while protecting fatigue management and wellbeing.
- Manage roster changes, disruption and standby call-out in coordination with the OCC.
- Operate and optimise the crew-planning / rostering system with new-age, data-driven tools.
What you'll bring
- Proven experience in airline crew planning and rostering, ideally with a regional operator.
- Strong knowledge of FTL, fatigue management and rostering rules (CAR OPS-1 Subpart Q).
- Command of crew-planning / rostering systems (e.g. AIMS-type) and data-driven optimisation.
- Analytical and detail-focused, balancing legality, efficiency and crew wellbeing.
- Comfortable building and leading a small, high-productivity team.
What will set you apart
- Turbo-prop (e.g. ATR) and Middle East / GCC rostering experience.
- Experience with roster optimisation and crew-cost management.
- Experience coordinating with an OCC during disruption.
