Head - Cabin Crew Management

  • Muscat, Oman
  • Operations
  • Full-Time
  • On-Site

Job Description:

We are building a new regional airline in Oman — an ATR72-600 operation — and need a cabin safety leader to build and lead our cabin crew from the start-up phase.

About the role

As Head of Cabin Crew you supervise and manage our cabin crew within the CAA-approved organisational structure, ensuring cabin safety and compliance with CAR OPS-1 Subpart O training and competence requirements. You will own the Cabin Safety Procedures Manual and our cabin crew training, and play a key role in our Safety Management System — fulfilling the required cabin crew management function under CAR OPS-1.175(t).

What you'll do

  • Supervise and manage cabin crew and cabin safety within the CAA-approved organisational structure.
  • Maintain the approved Cabin Safety Procedures Manual and cabin crew training programmes.
  • Plan, schedule and facilitate cabin crew training — initial, conversion, recurrent, SEP, AVSEC, DGR, first aid and CRM — per approved syllabi.
  • Maintain cabin crew training records and document control for cabin safety policies, briefing cards and scripts.
  • Participate in the SMS — report, investigate and follow up cabin safety occurrences, and advise the Authority where needed.

What you'll bring

  • Extensive experience as senior cabin crew (SCCM / Chief Purser) and in cabin management/safety roles in a commercial airline.
  • Excellent knowledge of CAR OPS-1 cabin crew and cabin safety requirements (Subparts O and Q) and Cabin Safety Procedures / Operations Manuals, including maintaining them for regulatory approval.
  • Experience designing, maintaining and overseeing cabin crew training programmes and scheduling per approved syllabi.
  • Proven ability to maintain accurate training records and manage document control for cabin safety materials.
  • Active SMS experience, with an understanding of human factors and fatigue risk and the ability to design compliant cabin crew rosters (Subpart Q).

What will set you apart

  • Experience developing joint flight operations–cabin safety training (security, CRM, interference with crew members).
